Every year since 2009, Beardsman.com has sponsored the Bay of Beards beard and moustache contest. The contests are there to promote facial hair growth around the state of FL. Florida is a state ravaged by heat and humidity, a terror on any gentleman in the Sunshine State. Our contenders for the best beard in FL are some of the few that are able to withstand the subtropical terror that is the Tampa Bay area.

The Bay of Beards event is also a fundraiser for the Beardsman Foundation, a charity dedicated to the aid of the mentally-ill homeless. National Health Care for the Homeless Council is responsible for this amazing aim of ending this problem. For more information about NHCHC visit their website.
